Question

The LED flashes as it is charging. The LED never stops flashing

The MH 24 charger LED never stops flashing. I have tried it on two separate batteries. First I thought it was the battery. The second battery I know works.

The only thing that I can think of is that the battery needs time to charge. My first charges of a new battery take a couple of hours.

You only need one hour and 30 minutes in order to have a fully charge battery, once this is completed the Charge lamp should stop blinking and stays a solid light. If the charge lamp is flickering that means that the battery is set incorrectly or the battery is faulty. Since you try the charger with 2 batteries it would be the best to send the charger to be evaluated by one of our technicians.

It's not meant to be removable.
The plug flips out of the way for storage.

If the charger lamp is flickering instead of blinking it meas that
- The battery is set incorrectly (disconect the charger remove the battery and then reset the battery to lie flat in the charger) or
- Ambiente temperature is not suited for charging (41f to 95f),
- The battery is faulty (disconect the charger and stop charging).

In the user's manual for your camera you can find that information in First Steps: Charging the Battery.
- Charge lamp starts blinking when charging starts.
- Charging is complete when the charge lamp stops blinking.
- A fully-exhausted battery charges in about one hours and 30 minutes.

Question

Once the battery is fully charged, will the charger light turn green from yellow?

That's what my Panasonic camera battery charger does. But to MH-24, it seems to remain yellow. I just want to make sure that my battery or the charger is not defective. Thanks,
