Please install the latest version for View NX 2 in your computer that will allow you to download the photos. Also, Incorporates movie-editing functions Start/end points can be set (unnecessary portions can be deleted). Selected frames can be saved (still-image saving), JPEG images with number of pixels equivalent to movie recording size.

Battery Exhausted means that you need to recharge your battery. The Charge lamp will blink indicating that is charging, once is complete will stop blinking green and turns off.

If the Date and Time Imprint feature is on, there will be no way of removing it from the picture.

Night time videos are difficult to do, since most light sources at night are pin points to the camera lens, and these will create flare. A rule of thumb: it's it's too dark to see colors it's probably too dark to shoot a video. You may want to think still photos instead with high a high ASA rating >1600 and using a tripod. Sometimes motioned blurred objects can be called art.

Try charging the camera through the computer or via wall plug. Also, try a backup battery. If the problem persists you will need to send the camera and the charger to be evaluated.

You may have a defective battery. Is it an OEM Nikon battery or a third party replacement battery? Also, how old is the battery? Batteries do die, not only one-time use batteries but also rechargeable batteries.

If you're camera/battery is still under warranty, it might behoove you to have everything checked out. You may also want to check if there is a newer firmware update for your camera, if so, you should install it as this may also be a fix. Otherwise, try a new OEM Nikon battery and see if that doesn't fix your problem.

Refer to page 159 of your manual, tells you how to format card and internal memory.

I would suggest purchasing a monopod for stability in low light.

If the light is flickering (very fast) it may be that the ambient temperature is not suited for charging or the USB cable or Charging AC adapter is not properly connected, or there is a problem with the battery. Disconnect the USB cable or unplug the Charging AC adapter and correctly connect it again, or try a back up battery. Or connect the USB to a computer in order to charge the battery.
