Question
Nikon 24 to 120 F3.5 VR zoom
lens Nikon 24 to 120 F3.5 VR zoom Is this the most out of focus lens out in the market or is there something wrong with my brand new lens?? THIS REALLY HURTS BECAUSE EVERYTHING PROFESSIONAL THAT I HAVE SHOT SINCE I 'VE OWNED THIS BAD LENS HAS BEEN OUT OF FOCUS SLIGHT ENOUGH TO RUIN THE SHOTS AND THESE ARE SHOT AT F/22

i agree with keith, f/22 is not really good due to diffraction. however, it's perfectly possible you've got a back/front focus lens. what camera are you using it with?
Shooting at F22 is never going to get the best out of the lens, usable, but not the best. Is there any reason for shooting at such apertures ?, try it at say f8 - f11 and see if that makes any difference.
The Nikkor 24-120/3.5-5.6 is completely compatible with the Nikon D90 DSLR, and all functions are supported. Some people find 24mm on the wide end is not wide enough on DX-format cameras -- preferring 18mm or wider -- but if that might not be a problem for you. The reach on the long end, on the other hand, makes this lens good for many uses. There's a generous zoom range here that eliminates the need for frequent lens changes.
