Nikon factory refurbished products contain the same supplied accessories as the original product and are protected by a 90-day limited warranty.

The supplied accessories for the AF-S NIKKOR 28-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR Lens are:
HB-50 Bayonet Lens Hood
LC-77 Snap-on Front Lens Cap
LF-1 Rear Lens Cap
CL-L1120 Soft Case

Question

what accessories come with this lens ?

Could someone tell me what else comes with this refurbished lens ? Would it be the same as if you purchased this lens in 'New' condition ? What kind of warranty does it have, same as a new one ??
Any chance of this lens going on sale, as it was a month ago, in 'New' condition #I just missed the sale by 1-day and really wanted the 'new' one at the $696 price point !!!! #
Thanks,
Gary

Question

Will this lens allow me to get close-up shots of the moon? Will it work on my D3200? I have a entry-level camera, so should I pay this much for a lens

It depends on what you mean by "close up." I have attached a photo that I took of the moon using my 70-300 zoom mounted on my D300 DX camera. The lens was fully zoomed, so I got an equivalent focal length of 450 mm (the same you would get with this 28-300 zoom lens). This image is not cropped. It was shot as a NEF file and saved as a JPG with no other processing.

If you "google" close up photos of the moon, some websites suggest a 600mm lens to accomplish this task.

The lens should work on your D3200 camera. Nikon does have a return policy (I think it is 14 days on used equipment). Should you pay this much for a lens? It's a personal question, and also what subjects will you be shooting? I am an amateur, and I noticed your question had not been answered, so you've got my best answer.
