The AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G is ideal for everyday shooting, perfect in low lighting situations and great for producing images with beautiful background blur (Bokeh). Standard lenses like this one are the popular choice for a wide range of photography including portraiture and low light situations where the photographer can not use a flash or is looking to capture the scene with available light.
