Question

How do the filters attach?

I notice there is no accessory tube for the P7700, do the filters attach to the end of the lens or is the tube just not yet listed? We previously used the P5100 with a microscope adapter and looking for the next Nikon Coolpix alternative.

Actually, the P7700 can use a 40.5mm filter, attached directly to the lens. The HN-CP17 lens hood for the camera also has a filter thread and accepts 58mm filters.

The best way to clean a filter is to use a piece of lint free lens cleaning tissue and a small amount of Lens Cleaning solution. Do not use anything containing abrasives or solvents, only use Lens Cleaning Solution.
