Can I use this to attach my D7000 with a Nikon DK-17M?
Im use to using the D3 round rubber viewfinder, and i bought a d7000 to go, but i prefer on using the Rounded D3 rubber eye piece instead of the D7k's rectangular rubber eye piece.

And D7000 finder not have locking mechanism. Easy to lost an eyepiece in the field.

Try DK-21M, Sorry but I think your D7000 will look funny if you use DK-22 with DK-17M.

Yes, you can leave it on the camera and to remove it you just have to slide the eyepiece.

The DK-22 fits the DG-1 adapter. The diameter of the threads is not published in the product specifications.
