Question

Will the DK-6 eyecup fit the DR-6 Rectangular Right Angle Viewfinder?

The eye cup on mine disintegrated years ago, and I have not been able to find a replacement.

Unfortunately, the DR-6 eyepiece mold is not offered for sale. The replacement of the eyepeice mold on the DR-6 has to be done by a authorized Nikon service technician. You can use the link below to schedule a repair, or find a repair station, or contact tech support for further information.

Question

Is DK-6 enough or do I also need an eyepiece?

I bought a F100 but there was no eyepiece attached. The viewfinder is naked, there is the thread to which supposedly the DK-6 would attach. Is that the case i.e. does it attach directly to the camera? Or do I have to also buy some eyepiece such as one of these?

I would especially like to use DK-6 with the antifog eyepiece i.e. 2974
