Does this camera have a grid over lay mode in the view finder?

I would use this camera for taking images of art work and therefore I need to be able to see if the paintings are square and not trapezoids.

The D3100 does not have an option to display framing gridlines in the viewfinder. However, you can display framing gridlines on the monitor when shooting in Live View. For information on how to enable gridlines in Live View Mode see page 41 of the D3100 manual. A copy of the D3100 manual can be downloaded from this address:
