Will this work in the Coolpix S9300?

I'm very disappointed in the battery life of the EN-EL12 battery included with the camera. What other options do I have?

No, its for the Coolpix 8400 and 8800, your only options, if you are not happy with the battery life is to buy a spare battery im affraid as there are no other battery options available.

The En-EL7 battery last approximately 260 shots on the Coolpix 8400, and approximately 240 shots on the coolpix 8800.
