Yes, It is documented in the camera manual not to use an AC coverter. All Coolpix chargers, including the EH-70P can auto switch from 100v to 240V 50hz/60hz.
However, the correct adapter plug must be acquired for the country traveled to, and fitted to the Nikon AC adapter to allow proper AC connection to the wall outlet.
