Question

Can this be used to adapt 10-pin accessories to the Nikon D600?

I use a Nikon ML-3 that connects to my Nikon D1X via its 10-pin port.
The Nikon D600 does not have a 10-pin port. I know the D600 has front & rear IR ports, but you have to be in front of or behind the camera & the new remote is very limited in range.

First problem is the D600 firmware is not programmed to operate with the ML-3.
