The DK-20C +3.0 Correction Eyepiece would be the proper eyepiece to use. Optional Nikon eyepiece diopters allow you to optimize your SLR viewfinder’s sharpness in conjunction with your individual eyesight. Eyepiece diopters are designed for specific camera models and are identified by a plus, a minus or a neutral numeric diopter value. To determine the appropriate eyepiece correction lens, we need to know the "spherical" diopter correction your shooting eye requires for a viewing distance of one meter. This must be measured by an eye care specialist. We require this number and the model of your camera in order to give you the Nikon product number for the proper eyepiece lens. Question

Does this eyepiece work with the little adjustment wheel on the EVF so it will go plus or minus from the +3 that this eyepiece is?

The eyepiece that comes with the camera goes from -4 to +3. Does this accessory allow the EVF focus to go from -1 to +6 ?

I think you would be better off talking to an optometrist, and remember the nikon eyepiece in the camera is a -1 so tou need +1 to get back to 0
