Is the Nikon HN-34 lens hood the hood that fits the Nikon 77mmcircular polarizing II thin ring filter.

I bought a 12-24mm Nikon lens and I am buying the Nikon 77mm circular polarizer II thin ring filter. will the Nikon HN-34 lens hood fit the polarizer II thin ring filter?

Unfortunately no hood will fit on the new Type II Circular polarizing Filters.
