The Nikon type 'L' Screen is an interchangeable focusing screen with a split-image rangefinder at a 45 degree angle. It has a matte/Fresnal field, AF marks, a diagonal split-image rangefinder and 12mm microprism collar. The screen gives rapid, accurate focusing and is perfect for use on subjects with horizontal lines.

The corect one for the D7000 is the Type B BriteView Clear Matte Mark II with AF area brackets.
