Does this hood cause vignetting at the 18mm position?
I'm researching before I purchase the hood. i already have the lens, and I am considering getting the hood for protection mostly.

No, there is no vignetting at 18mm when the HB-58 lens hood is used with the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-300mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens.
