Does this work on the D100?
The D100 does not have a 10 pin plug, so i cannot use any electronic, does this manual cord work with the D100?

GOt that a bit worong, the MC-30 can only be used with the MB-D100 battery pack.

No, its for older film cameras with a screw thread in the shutter rlease. For the D100 you would need the MC-30 remote.

The AR-3 Threaded Cable Release cannot be use with D40. The only Remote control that can be use is the ML-L3.

No, it is for cameras that have a threaded shutter button, generally older film bodies. The correct remote for the D3000 is the ML-L3
