I also asked the Pocketwizard people and they said:
"While the mirrorless cameras are definitely gaining in popularity, at this point we do not plan to make our radios compatible in TTL mode. We are keeping an eye on customer demand and if it is high enough, we may consider it. If it had a standard hot shoe, you could use it in Basic Trigger mode, but it appears to use the same specialized shoe the V1 uses."

There aren't any lenses in the current 1Nikkor line that have a minimum aperture smaller than f/16. In order to have any of the Nikon1 cameras go past f/16 you would need to use the FT-1 Mount adapter and an F-mount lens that has a wider aperture range. For a list of F-mount lenses compatible with the FT-1 mount for Nikon1 cameras go to http://support.nikonusa.com/app/ans...

New 1Nikkor lenses are expected to be released in 2013 but final specifications of those lenses have yet to be released.

The lens minimum aperature varies depending on the type of lens that is attached. The lens that you have attached cannot close any further than F16 which is why the aperature on the J1 is not going beyond F16.

When using the FT1 adapter on the V2 the camera must be set to AF-S (the camera will not focus in other autofocus modes) and autofocus is only available with AF-S lenses. The only AF area mode available is Single-point and the camera focuses on the subject in the center focus area only. Face priority is not supported.

The operating environment for the Nikon1 V2 is 00 °C–40 °C (+32 °F–104 °F) with humidity at 85% or less (no condensation).

The Nikon1 V2 is not waterproof and may malfunction if exposed to high levels of humidity so it should be protected from snow. Extreme temperature change can cause condensation inside the camera body. When taking the camera to a very cold place, or from hot to cold, place it inside an airtight container such as a plastic bag and leave it inside the bag for awhile to expose the camera gradually to the temperature change.

The Nikon1 V2 does not have an auto-bracketing feature so you would need to manually set up bracketed images. Please see this article on Nikonusa.com for more information on bracketing: http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Learn-An...

If you are interested in using bracketing to create HDR (High Dynamic Range) images, the V2 has a built in HDR feature that takes 2 shots at different exposures and combines them into an HDR image. An article on HDR photography can be found here: http://www.nikonusa.com/en/Learn-An...

There are currently 2 lenses that are made specifically for Nikon1 cameras which can zoom to an equivalent of almost 300mm. The 1 Nikkor VR 30-110mm f/3.8-5.6 has a picture angle that is equivalent to 81-297mm in 35mm format. The 1 Nikkor VR 10-100 f/4.5-5.6 PD-Zoom (power zoom) lens has a picture angle that is equivalent to 27-270mm in 35mm format.

There is also another 10-100mm f/4-5.6 (equivalent to 27-270mm in 35mm format but without the power zoom) that is in development and expected to be released in 2013.

Additionally, the FT-1 adapter for Nikon1 cameras allows you to use 35mm format lenses on these cameras. Keep in mind that the focal length of these lenses will be affected by a crop factor of 2.7x. For example, if you were to attach a 70-200mm f-mount lens to the Nikon1 V2 via the FT-1 mount you would have a picture angle equivalent to 189-540mm. For a list of lenses that are compatible with the FT-1 see the following address:

The time and date for an image taken with the Nikon1V2 is embedded in the meta data of the image and can be viewed in the camera on a computer. However, the Nikon1 V2 does not have the option to print or stamp the date so it is visible on the image itself. The Nikon1 V2 does allow you to print the date on the image when printing via a DPOF print set. For more information on the DPOF print date option see page 108 of the V2 manual. A copy of the V2 manual can be downloaded from this address: http://support.nikonusa.com/app/ans...
